How to visit TajMahal Agra without crowd
Its my long time wish to see the World Wonder which is located in my country and finally i have made it. Yes , I have visited the beautiful, magnificent TajMahal, One of the Wonder of the world.
But this time I took my family with me to visit this beautiful monument. I already got an opportunity to visit Tajmahal back in 2016 when me and my friends went on to a North India trip. But I really wanted to visit this symbol of love with my better half , so I avoided the Agra Trip and stayed in the hotel in Delhi during that trip. So this time I took my parents and my wife to visit this beauty.
You can get loads and loads of pictures and the story behind Tajmahal if you just google. So I thought of writing an article which would be useful for some people who would like to see the Tajmahal without crowd and to get a perfect Picture.
I stayed in a hotel Which is just opposite to the New Delhi Railway Station (NDLS) and only reason is to get the Taj Express Train at 6 AM to reach agra. The train we boarded arrived at the Agra station around 11:30 AM.
When you just came out of the station, you will be swamped by the Taxi drivers out there. Finally I managed to get a Taxi in the Pre paid counter which is just opposite to the Station.
We reached the hotel in about 30 minutes. The hotel I booked was located near the Western Gate Entry and from there its is a just couple minute walk to the Tajmahal. Hotel with Location at its best.
The day I reached was on a sunday and I know It would be full packed with thousands of people.
I Just took a walk from the hotel and its exactly the same I thought. Yes, the Ticket entrance was crowded like anything and I really dont want to visit Tajamahal in such a crowd. So I just returned back to the hotel and took rest.

After visiting the other gates, I came back to my hotel, went to the bed pretty early just to make sure I wake up early in the morning. I really cant sleep that night as I was very eager to fulfill my long time wish. Just Imagine , you have the Great "Tajamahal" just a few metres away from you and still you need to wait for some time.
Finally It was 5 AM in the morning and I was ready at 5:30 . I went to ticket counter and it was just me and few foreigners there. How easy!!!. Got the tickets for me and my family in a minute and i came back to my hotel to take them.
I reach the entrance at 6 AM and within minutes we got inside.
We reached "The Great Gate" which is the main entrance to the Tajmahal.
On our way |
The Moment the I saw the Tajmahal, I said "WOW". This is simply amazing.
As we entered around 6 AM, I can see lot of foreign tourist people witnessing the beauty of the Tajmahal.
There were very less number of people around there and you can get so many photographic
opportunities. Its really hard to get a solo picture with the Tajamahal. But i got few...But for that you need come early.

The Taj Mahal complex is bordered on three sides by red sandstone walls; the side facing the river is open. Outside the walls are several additional mausoleums, including those of Shah Jahan's other wives and a larger tomb for Mumtaz's favourite servant.

The time I spent in Tajmahal was from 6 AM to 10 AM and thats all the time you require. Just look out for an empty bench facing the Tajmahal (you will get one, if you were there early) with your partner and simply admire the beauty. I just loved it. My best advice is not to take a tour guide with you which is just waste of money. Just google and you will get to know all those info about tajmahal.
