The Place where I sat and Enjoyed the view

I really felt ashamed of myself for not visiting this beautiful place which is located just around 30 KM from my home and this place situated on our way the Great Living Chola Temple "Brihadeeswarar Temple in Thanjavur"..
This Place located exactly in the Starting point of Thiruvarur District (The district where I belong to).

No doubt it's a huge lake. But the lack of sufficient water is the reason for the decline in the number of birds. However, you can see numerous watersheds in the existing water. 





The most beautiful pavilion, the towers to see the birds, the chairs and the cement seats are perfect. No fees are charged to go in and out as other sanctuary
One of the bird's tower at Mannargudi road, the other in opposite direction. Thus, the water birds located on the rear can easily be seen.
The birds are often named for its functionalities in the Tamil language.
There was no human beings to look around, and we showed a lack of interest in nature. The tragedy is that even the local people do not know about this sanctuary.

We start to heard a lot about a Non- Veg Hotel which is an hour and half drive from my hometown. Even people from far distance are raving about this hotel and no surprise we wanted to visit that place. Myself and my friend Muruganand started from karaikal by 10:30 AM in the morning. The Hotel is located at Puthur which is at a distance of 8km from Sirkazhi Town and 50 km from Karaikal.
