Kovalam - Kerala - One of the Top 10 Beaches in India

Whenever you do a google search on "Top 10 Beaches in India" ,I am damn sure you'll get to see the name "Kovalam" on the list and i witnessed why it is in the Top 10 list. It is situated around 12 kilometers from the capital city of Kerala 'Trivandrum'.

Located in the Arabian Sea, Kovalam Beach is an International tourist destination where you can see many foreign nationals enjoying the sun and the sea.

Speed Boats
 I would say, the best time to visit the beach will be between evening 4 PM to 6:30 PM where you can witness the mesmerizing beauty of the sunset from the beach. From my point of view, i would say this place is a miniature of Goa. There are plenty of restaurants available which servers some fresh sea food with a drink. There are also few speed boats available where they will take you into the see which can be a thrilling experience.

 If you visit the beach in the early morning where you can watch these fisherman at the beach where they were pulling together their fishing net and were singing a worksong.

 Lift Facility is now available in the light house and the view from the lighthouse is breathtaking.

 There are times when the life guards in the beach won't allow you swim far in the beach while the sea is rough. Swimming is prohibited by that time.

We start to heard a lot about a Non- Veg Hotel which is an hour and half drive from my hometown. Even people from far distance are raving about this hotel and no surprise we wanted to visit that place. Myself and my friend Muruganand started from karaikal by 10:30 AM in the morning. The Hotel is located at Puthur which is at a distance of 8km from Sirkazhi Town and 50 km from Karaikal.
