After Visiting Wat Pho and Wat Arun, we have decided to pay a visit to China town and Wat Traimit (Golden Buddha) which comes under the Top 10 things to do in Bangkok. I heard a lot that,china town will be more vibrant when visited after sunset. Since we have flight scheduled to phi phi in the evening, we decided to explore china town in the daytime itself. Wat Arun: (The Temple of Dawn) One of Bangkok’s most famous landmarks known from many postcards, the Wat Arun is best known for its massive tower on the Chao Phra river bank built in Khmer architectural style.  View of the Temple from the boat The Wat Arun, commonly known as “the Temple of Dawn”, is one of only six temples of the highest grade of the first class Royal Temples, and therefore one of Thailand’s most revered temples which is located on the West bank of the Chao Phraya river, opposite Wat Pho. How To reach Wat Arun from Wat Pho: This Iconic temple is located right opposite to Wat Pho across the choa phraya river.  The best way to get there is by boat. You have to reach the Tha Thien Ferry Terminal from where you can take a ferry ride to the Wat Arun Temple  costs 4THB per person . The Ferry Terminal is just a few minutes walk from the wat pho temple. Once you exit from Wat pho,walk towards this museum in Maha rat road and take a left to Thai wang alley

Take Bus number A4. The bus platform is located on the 1st floor of the Don Mueang Airport Arrival Terminal near Gate 6 and you can get down in the last stop Sanam Luang. Grand Palace and Wat Pho is just around 2 km from Sanam Luang. Taking the Airport bus is one of the cheapest way to reach the destination in a cost of 50 THB per person.
